We tend to provide the right things in the wrong order for our fur-kids, we try to comfort in a new environment then we want to apply the demand for respect of our human rules, this creates confusion for the dog. Lets work together for a compromise...Give and Take, a reward system the dog understands, keeping it simple and Fun for both of you. We will work together to get things clear for both you and your pup, once that is in place, Trust me magic happens.

It’s never too late to teach an old dog new tricks, and I believe it’s never too late to train any pet. My services are designed with you and your pet in mind, and I believe in working as much with "You" as with your baby. Any age, any breed, any mix of breeds, I got you covered. I know the genetic tendencies of all the breeds and how to help you understand them.

When Time is a luxury
ART (At Residence Training)
If your animal needs help with a specific physical or behavioral issue, boarding with Pawzitive Balance Canine may be a great option for you.
With personalized plans to fit your pet’s needs and your lifestyle. I only take in extreme cases for Board and Train Behavior Modification. Never more then two dogs at a time for 4-6 weeks are permitted to be my "project dogs" Puppies 8+ weeks are my only exception. Honestly this is not cheap and requires 100% owner commitment to your pet. This is not a "I train your dog here ya go, see ya bye bye," kind of training. I will develop a program that works for your lifestyle not mine.

This is also a great puppy basics option! I deal with the kennel cries and potty training for you! Socialize them and get over that first fear period. Your pet has plenty of potential to learn and understand commands, and my style of training will lay the foundation for you to build upon. Sadly no dogs with behavior issues in groups, we can do one on one, and depending on your motivation and progress you'll be included later, safety first!

Behavior Consulting is my most popular service, which I’ve been developing and perfecting since I started working with dogs. This is what I do best, Read dogs and their owners together and seperate . I am the best at this hands down!
This way I can share what I've learned over 20 years in the field, with pet owners who want to understand why their dogs do what they do.
I work closely with each one of my clients and their animals to implement my proven problem solving process, I work with your veterinarian to rule out medical issues and help you choose medications if needed. Life gets busy, so I will customize a plan that suits your lifestyle and what you want or expect in your dog.

Consulting Services for Rescues

At Pawzitive Balance Canine, I offer a Consulting Service to our local area not for profit rescues (501c) in order to help find your dogs a Fur-ever home.
Temperament Testing, Defensive handling classes for volunteers, how to read what the dogs are telling you. Play Group methods & safety. As well as teaching basic obedience skills. Some behavioral problems can also be addressed. This is done VIA My Partnership with Kamp Kritter (501c). If the dog is Boarded with Kamp Kritter for Rehabilitation and my services are requested, a plan and assessment is sent to the Sponsor Rescue. This is based on a Log term relationship with the Founder of Kamp Kritter Susan Towler. I ONLY EVALUATE & TEST or give Lessons at her Facility. You must Contact KAMP KRITTER for this Service.

~I started this idea and journey working in Shelter Behavior so I must give back, I serve as the Vice President of Kamp Kritter, The No Kill movement prompted a place for Old Dogs to go and live out their lives in a wonderful Place after they were surrendered for one reason or another, later the misfits arrived because someone saw they could be helped and get a new home with guidance and manners. It's what we do. Those that are special stay, those that excel are adopted. We are partnered with Most Northeastern Rescues, and as far south as Miami Dade Counties.
